“ I used to be a collector of all kinds of shoes, and now, I make my own. ”

As the designer and creative director of her eponymous label, Charlene Lee is the company’s heart and sole.

She graduated from LaSalle College Of The Arts with a diploma in fashion design in 2008 before spending a serendipitous summer in New York where she would attend the prestigious Parsons The New School For Design. It was here that Charlene realised she must walk all that passionate talk of shoes, and turn her dream into a reality.

Back in Singapore, she worked for a year as a stylist at a prestigious high-fashion magazine to get a foot in to the local fashion scene. Shortly afterwards, a debut collection was in place!

Inspired by the places she has travelled to, the people she meets and the myriad colours of life, Charlene’s vision is to put the spring of style and elegance into the step of women the world over.

Life, she believes, should be enjoyed in beautiful shoes.
